Why do we offer multiple pricing options? 

As with any product or service, communications channels should be available in different units of purchase depending on the client and service partner’s business models and commercial agreements. If a contact centre bills the client on a per agent model, but must apply separate pricing for say, video calls, neither the client not the contact center can arrive on a flat, per month price per seat utilised.  

In other cases, this will help companies buy and sell products in the same units they sell them. For e.g.: 

  • A video KYC provider may want to provide their services on a per KYC transaction completed, but as the video API usage is charged at a per participant, per minute model, costs can vary widely, upsetting commercial price modelling.  
  • Organisations with heavy usage may like to procure user/agent-based licensing to ensure spends on specific communication channels are capped and predictable at a per contact centre agent, or a per transaction model.  
  • Others may have a specific requirement basis customised transaction unit, where say, video minutes used during a specific transaction like a video KYC call may be capped through a per transaction cost.

    For education or other use cases with heavy usage. Gives predictability in spend. Example per teacher or per student billing

  • This model is designed for high usage industries like edtech with visibility on concurrency of usage. In such a case, edtech companies know the number of sessions they run in parallel and the size of each classroom, they can buy concurrent capacity with unlimited video usage.  
  • Resellers – This model is an ideal one for resellers who want to sell Video APIs under white label model. They can buy capacity and sell services in any model of their choosing 
  1. Transaction based pricing  
    Another industry first, this model is designed for companies using Video for short duration transactions like VKYC or fixed duration candidate interviews. We can charge per interview or per KYC with such industries
