By default, each customer account is enabled with Whiteboard. It can be invoked from the Whiteboard Button from Toolbar.

Whiteboard can be invoked by any Moderator or Participant in the Video Room. It can be closed by the user who invoked it or it is automatically closed when he disconnects from the Room.

Note: Mobile Browser endpoints are not compatible with the Whiteboard. Therefore, Whiteboard Tool will not be available for them.

Sharing Modes

Whiteboard can be used in 2 different modes as explained below:

  • Collaboration Mode: In this Mode, the Whiteboard Content can be viewed at the recipient endpoints within the Whiteboard Tool so that the recipient can also write into it. All changes done by anyone are seen by all others. This is the mode in which Whiteboard is shared.
  • Viewer Mode: In this mode, the Whiteboard Content can be viewed only as the stream is played in a Video Player. Video Mode is enabled automatically if the endpoint is a Viewer or is not using a compatible browser/device.

Note: Mobile Browser endpoints are not compatible with the Whiteboard and they will always play the Whiteboard Contents in Viewer Mode in a Video Player.
